Byron Luxury Beach Houses is a client of mine I couldn’t be more proud to be associated with or work for. While this five-star slice of heaven in the heart of Byron Bay is certainly a delight to promote, it’s the owner’s commitment to charity work that really sets them apart from their contemporaries. But before we get into that let me first introduce you to the beach houses.
Located on Shirley Street in Byron Bay, just a few minutes walk from Belongil Beach, this fully enclosed facility features six separate, split-level architecturally designed beach houses. While there are hundreds of accommodation options in and around town, none offer privacy, security and sanctuary quite like this place. You’ll find loads of luxury amenities – lush linen, king-size beds, Bosch appliances, outdoor stone showers – and ample spaces to unwind and entertain, something that’s vital when you’re holidaying with family and friends. Each beach house, which comfortably sleep eight people, surround a fully tiled, heated swimming pool. This is the perfect place to be when the beach is blown out or the midday summer sun gets too much. The lap pool also provides a beautiful outlook when you’re preparing lunch in the fully equipped kitchen or reading a book on the daybed.
What stands out most for me and many other guests is the incredible spaciousness each beach house offers. Large floor-to-ceiling windows, sliding glass doors and high ceilings create an airy, open atmosphere that really does seamlessly merge indoor areas with alfresco zones. The entire facility can be booked to accommodate up to 48 people, making it a popular choice for wedding parties and corporate events.
The community minded owners of Byron Luxury Beach Houses work closely with local businesses by developing lifestyle packages for guests. These range in food tours and in-house fine dining through to personalised surf tours and corporate speaking. They hand pick ethical businesses who pride themselves on delivering world-class products with a particular Byron flair. And, as I mentioned earlier, the owners also immerse themselves in charity work, one of which is the Starlight Foundation. Since helping to found the annual Starball gala 13 years ago, this private fundraising group has helped raise $1.2 million annually for seriously ill children and their families.
